Job Summary

Well-established Lloyd's brokers with global offices are seeking an experienced Marine and Energy Account Specialist. This role involves providing technical support functions within the Marine and Energy Division, making you a key member of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and process pre-inception and post-placement documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Review documents at critical stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing.
  • Quoting, placement, and post-contract alterations, including analyzing and providing advice on risk and insurance issues.
  • Structure appropriate coverage for the insured's operations, exposure, and risk.
  • Negotiate and obtain the most suitable carrier, coverage, and price for the client's requirements.
  • Resolve subjectivities and warranties in accordance with client/wholesale broker/insurer instructions to secure underwriters' participation.
  • Negotiate agreement to post-placement changes.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar broker support/account handler role within the Lloyd's market.
  • Marine and Energy experience and knowledge.
