Information Security Director

As an IT Security Manager at Futures, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our critical IT systems from cyber threats and security breaches. If you have experience in information security management and a passion for protecting sensitive information, this role could be your next challenge.
You will be responsible for developing and enforcing robust IT security policies, leading the response to security incidents, and ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Your expertise will be essential in protecting our organisation's IT infrastructure and sensitive information from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Maintain IT Security Policies: Create and enforce robust IT security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and implement mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches.
- Lead Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems.
- Manage Cybersecurity Team: Manage and mentor the Cyber Security Analyst, ensuring continuous professional development and providing guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing information security functions, including incident response and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of security standards such as NIST, ISO27001, and data protection legislation (GDPR, Data Protection Act).
- Qualifications: A degree in information security, computer science, or a related field is essential.
