We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Teaching Assistant and Early Years team as a Specialist Teacher Assessor. This exciting role will involve working closely with the curriculum manager to plan, deliver, and assess a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teaching of TA and EY courses at the college
  • Work with learners to develop their confidence and skills throughout their learning programmes
  • Assess learner progress and provide meaningful feedback
  • Contribute to the development of new and established courses
  • Market the college's specialist provision to promote learning opportunities
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of teaching TA and/or EY courses
  • Experience of using MS Office applications
  • Experience of working within deadlines
  • Experience of mentoring
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • A Level 4 Teaching Qualification for post-compulsory settings
  • GCSE Grade 9-5 English and maths qualifications
Desirable Criteria
  • Assessor Certificate (Level 3)
  • Experience of working with diverse and challenging learner groups
  • Experience of undertaking internal quality assurance
  • Knowledge of the local area and community
