We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Teaching Assistant and Early Years team as a Specialist Teacher Assessor. This exciting role will involve working closely with the curriculum manager to plan, deliver, and assess a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teaching of TA and EY courses at the college
- Work with learners to develop their confidence and skills throughout their learning programmes
- Assess learner progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Contribute to the development of new and established courses
- Market the college's specialist provision to promote learning opportunities
- Extensive experience of teaching TA and/or EY courses
- Experience of using MS Office applications
- Experience of working within deadlines
- Experience of mentoring
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- A Level 4 Teaching Qualification for post-compulsory settings
- GCSE Grade 9-5 English and maths qualifications
- Assessor Certificate (Level 3)
- Experience of working with diverse and challenging learner groups
- Experience of undertaking internal quality assurance
- Knowledge of the local area and community
