Job Overview:
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Senior Care Assistant to deliver high-quality care and support across a 20-mile radius. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and providing support and companionship to residents.

About the Role:
This varied role involves working closely with residents, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will need a good understanding of elderly care, a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care, and a commitment to continuous learning and development. Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor the delivery of care when on duty
- Contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident
- Record observations on temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs
- Provide support and companionship to residents, ensuring meaningful one-to-one time every shift

Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Essential: A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care, with a view to completing an NVQ 3. A good understanding of the wider healthcare industry is also required.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
