**Job Description:** Ageing Support Volunteer Coordinator
Hourglass Northern Ireland is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join their team as an Ageing Support Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating the activities of our volunteer team, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to deliver high-quality services to older adults.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordination and administration, and a commitment to supporting the delivery of quality services to older adults. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including volunteers, older adults, and other professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the activities of our volunteer team, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to deliver high-quality services to older adults
- Supporting the recruitment and retention of volunteers, ensuring that we have a diverse and skilled team in place to meet the needs of older adults
- Working closely with other professionals, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and lawyers, to ensure that older adults receive the best possible support
We offer a competitive estimated salary of £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including access to training courses and events, one-to-one support and networking with other volunteers, and opportunities to build a network of friends and contacts in your local community.
