About the Role

Ribbons and Reeves are proud to be working with a thriving two-form entry primary school in Islington to recruit a Special Education Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to develop their skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their academic and social potential. You will work closely with experienced educators, including teachers and other support staff, to provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.

We welcome applications from recent graduates or individuals with experience in a similar role. A 2:1 degree from a top UK university is preferred, but not essential. What matters most is your passion for education, your ability to build positive relationships with students and staff, and your commitment to providing high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs

• Work closely with experienced educators to develop and implement personalized learning plans

• Help students to overcome challenges and reach their academic and social goals

Requirements

• Recent graduate or experience in a similar role

• 2:1 degree from a top UK university (not essential)

• Passion for education and commitment to providing high-quality support

What We Offer

• Competitive salary of £96-100 per day, paid through PAYE
