About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing individualized support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist with reading, writing, and maths activities, ensuring that pupils with SEN receive the support they need to succeed
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of SEN, including strategies and techniques to support pupils with different needs
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Be adaptable and personable, with a strong ability to build relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members
