Comcast Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Tax Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of the company's taxation affairs, performing calculations of tax liabilities, tax form preparation, and external filing/reporting duties, as well as maintaining company tax records. This role requires close supervision and the ability to develop in own area by performing routine work. Key responsibilities include assisting with various Italian tax returns, communicating with suppliers to obtain mandatory documentation, liaising with the Italian Tax team, serving as a point of contact for accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, and providing support for tax return processes in other countries as needed. The ideal candidate will have fluency in both Italian and English, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Relevant, on-the-job Italian tax training will be provided to the successful candidate. While prior expertise in Italian tax is not required, a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. The ability to develop a strong understanding of the tax processes over time, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, is crucial for success in this role.
