Geography Educator

Job Description

Step Teachers is working with a school that strives to create well-rounded, responsible individuals who seize opportunities, discover their passions and love to learn throughout life. A Geography Teacher is needed to contribute to their team in a previously rated "Good" Ofsted school. The Geography Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Secondary level pupils. The Geography Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.

Geography Teacher - Role:

• As a Geography Teacher, you should be able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools' policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Geography Teacher - Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Have recent experience as a Secondary level Geography Teacher.
• Have a good level of classroom and behavior management.
• Have 2+ years of experience in a Secondary School as a Geography Teacher.
