Project Engineer Specialist

As a Project Construction Engineer with the HPC Jobs Service, you will be responsible for providing positive HSE leadership and building a strong, compliant HS&E culture throughout the entire construction life cycle of the project. This includes ensuring all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, in accordance with the CDM Regulations.
Key responsibilities include managing a set area within the Balance of Plant (BOP) on the HPC project, driving the project to support safe delivery of areas on time, to the right quality, and highest safety standards. You will also ensure appropriate deliverables are produced on time, maintaining Configuration Control across the scope Works Information, and monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave. Our teams are proud to be continuing to serve the nation while leading the UK's nuclear renaissance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant degree in construction or mechanical or electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Major Project Engineering (Construction) role is essential, along with CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport and ability to obtain security clearance of BPSS or higher. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial, as is experience in working within a Joint Venture or Alliance environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams are also essential.
