Job Title: Finance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our Shared Services team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the business, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for all Group companies and Group consolidation, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and best practice.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  3. Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, ensuring the company's working capital is within agreed targets.
  4. Work with internal stakeholders, including board members, to advise on budget setting and monitoring, delivering an excellent business partnering service.
  5. Produce high-quality information, data, and KPIs, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and appropriateness for corporate reporting.
  6. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects to support the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of working in a similar role, leading, and managing a team within a medium/large company.
  2. Knowledge of accounting systems and intermediate MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-lookups.
  3. Initiative and ability to influence change through an investigative and can-do approach.
  4. Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced organization undergoing change.
  5. Ability to build trust and credibility, fitting into our company culture and sharing our values.
  6. An accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) is preferred.
