We are seeking a skilled Associate Transport Modeller to contribute to our team in the UK. As a key member of our transport planning team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and leading the development and delivery of transport planning projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships to secure work and negotiate fee proposals;
- Manage project finances and communicate with colleagues as needed;
- Continuously update personal knowledge of relevant technical, legal, and policy changes;
- Manage and develop colleagues within project teams;
- Provide guidance on quality matters and technical issues;
- Seek to add value to all projects.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in a related subject;
- Significant experience in preparing Transport Statements and Assessments;
- Ability to set up and run PICADY's and ARCADYS (Junctions 9);
- Experience of using LINSIG and ability to understand outputs;
- Understanding of the principles of micro-simulation and strategic models/modelling;
- Knowledge of design standards (DMRB, MfS) and when and how they are used;
- Experience of developing access, parking, and sustainable transport strategies;
- Knowledge of S106 agreements, S278 agreements, and Traffic Regulation Orders;
- Project management skills with the capability to manage a wide and complex workload;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and have a strong ability to use their own initiative;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, co-consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
£40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum
