Job Title: Brand and Marketing Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand and Marketing Designer to join our team at Upper Deck Human Resources. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional marketing and business-related designs that support our trading cards and collectible products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns with a clear strategy, messaging, and visual content.
  • Design solutions for marketing activities, including trading cards, collectibles, and solicitation materials, that align with our company's design tenets.
  • Present design recommendations based on category, consumer, and manufacturing insights.
  • Deliver print-ready files with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality for various materials.
  • Develop campaign assets for website, email, social media, broadcast, connected TV, and out-of-home platforms.
  • Differentiate design and layout according to placement, such as mobile, desktop, and billboard.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project timelines and communicate with managers to keep projects on schedule.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings, presenting new design solutions.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary design trends and print/digital production technology developments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or Graphic Design, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven ability to provide professional design solutions and recommendations from concept to production.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects.
  • Excellent people skills and flexibility in dealing with changing schedules and multiple points of view.
  • Ability to interface with internal department employees at all levels, with a team player mindset.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
  • Hands-on, energetic, and motivated, with a self-starter attitude.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
