Global Management Lecturer Opportunity

GBS Global Applied Knowledge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Global Management and a passion for teaching.

We are committed to academic excellence and innovative teaching methods. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and guiding students through complex business theories and practices.

Our team has achieved outstanding results in the National Student Survey, scoring above the sector average in all themes. We are seeking a full-time Lecturer to teach MSc Global Management, with the ability to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
  • Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate.
  • Manage and lead modules/units.
  • Keep up to date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations.
  • Contribute to the decision-making process and develop productive working relationships within the team.

You will also be involved in staff development activities and peer observations.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • An honours degree in a relevant subject area, with qualifications at least Master's level.
  • A Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses.
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
  • Experience teaching in the wider subject area.
  • Experience with distance learning and supporting learners both online and face to face.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of designing/developing academic or professional education programmes.
