Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Professional to join our team in Cullompton. As a Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for delivering bulk milk to dairies across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.

About the Role

• Salary: £43,935 per annum based on 10 hours per shift, with opportunities for enhanced rates for working additional shifts or weekends.
• Hours of Work: A 4on 2off rota with start times between 17:00hrs and 23:00hrs.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of bulk milk to dairies across the UK.
• Transhipment role.
• Ensuring that deliveries and collections are made on time and in accordance with client requirements.
• Regular communication with the transport team for updates and managing customer expectations.
• Rural driving due to the nature of customer locations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Requirements

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence.
• A current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with fridge trailers is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fitness, flexibility, hard work, and self-motivation required.
