Exciting Opportunity for Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team at Fawkes & Reece, a busy main contractor with a growing presence on the South Coast.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing sub-contract packages from procurement through to final account, and will be reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor on the project.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various sectors including commercial, leisure, education, and healthcare with projects typically valuing up to 30 million.

Our team works predominantly via JCT forms of contract, and we are looking for someone who is proficient in these forms.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (dependent on experience) and the opportunity to join a contractor with a good pipeline of local work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sub-contract packages from procurement through to final account
  • Report into the Senior Quantity Surveyor on the project
  • Work on various sectors including commercial, leisure, education, and healthcare
  • Be proficient in JCT forms of contract
