About the Role

TradingHub is seeking a skilled Quantitative Developer to collaborate with our Analytics & Data division in designing, building, and validating models that power our industry-leading market surveillance and analytics products. You will work with a team of engineers and quants to create and deploy financial pricing libraries, calculators, and risk algorithms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical background and the ability to engineer high-quality software in a practical setting. Key responsibilities include developing complex pattern-detection algorithms, financial pricing libraries, and risk algorithms, as well as researching and developing broad models of market dynamics.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sophisticated pattern-detection algorithms for use across TradingHub's product offerings
  • Develop financial pricing libraries, calculators, and risk algorithms
  • Research and develop broad models of market dynamics across multiple asset classes
  • Prototype, test, and validate TradingHub's proprietary mathematical/statistical models
  • Utilize in-house big data language for large-scale pricing and analysis of security and risk data
  • Implement and optimize core algorithms used by TradingHub for deep financial data analysis

Requirements

Main Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficiency in C#, C++, or Python
  • Experience working with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, Postgres, etc.
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
  • Industry experience working as a quant within a pricing/risk function
  • Understanding of derivatives (swaps, options, futures) and ability to translate cash flows into risk
  • Good knowledge of fixed-income or commodities asset classes
  • Confidence to experiment with new ideas and technologies
