Executive Chef Manager in Basildon Area

Pabulum Catering is currently seeking a highly skilled Chef Manager to join our team in the Basildon area. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our children at one of our schools.
The school has a close-knit team of staff and a well-maintained kitchen environment. You will have a close relationship with the school and be responsible for managing the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
As a Chef Manager, you will work closely with our team to create an outstanding experience for our school. You will be responsible for preparing our delicious food, managing the kitchen, and ensuring that all health and safety protocols are followed.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing our delicious food
- Managing the kitchen, including health and safety and training and development
- Receiving and managing food deliveries and storage
- Developing a great working relationship with clients, team, and customers to ensure the catering contract is always growing in the right direction

- A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team, with excellent supervisory skills
- Financially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and resources
- A craft background with qualifications and experience to match
