About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at LSH Auto. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll expert to oversee and manage our business's payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with government regulations.

The successful candidate will supervise payroll colleagues, develop policies and procedures, and work closely with the HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage annual salary and bonus review processes.
  2. Produce salary and bonus confirmation letters through DocuSign.
  3. Build and maintain reports to ensure employee data is up-to-date and accurate.
  4. Review, design, and implement reward and benefit packages for all employees.
  5. Maintain and develop benefits information on the intranet, ensuring it is updated as required.
  6. Control employee benefits, including private medical insurance, life assurance, and pension.
  7. Analyse industry-wide packages and provide benchmarking for new and existing roles.
  8. Produce annual gender pay gap statistics and analyse the data to identify trends and underlying causes of any gap.
  9. Liaise with Financial Accounts to ensure Payroll is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  10. Respond to questions from employees regarding salary, NI, and tax.
  11. Provide accurate data reports to the wider business.
  12. Supervise the payroll team and oversee all payroll administration.
  13. Ensure payroll data is compliant and regulated with HMRC and other legislation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll manager role.
  • ATT or CIPP qualified.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll processes and systems.
  • Previous knowledge of rewards and benefits review.
  • Experience of payroll-related HR processes, including salary review and bonus configuration.
  • Experience of competitive analysis and benchmarking processes.
  • Experience of data handling, data analysis, interpretation, and input & reporting (with excellent use of Microsoft Excel).
