GLG Vets is a thriving veterinary practice in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, seeking an experienced Veterinary Clinical Lead to join our team. This unique role offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibility while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Role Overview:

  • We are looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with routine surgery and comfortable working occasional sole charge.
  • The full-time role offers 40 hours per week, including every other Saturday morning, with no Sundays or out-of-hours duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the clinical team, supported by a dedicated Head Nurse and Practice Manager.
  • Perform routine surgeries and manage medical cases with confidence.
  • Take on occasional sole charge responsibilities with the support of the team.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Contribute to the practice's growth and development during an exciting rebrand.
  • Support the team in driving a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.

Key Requirements:

  • A qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Confidence in routine surgeries and occasional sole charge work.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
  • A commitment to high standards of animal care and client satisfaction.
