Technical Support Engineer, HPLC Mass Spectrometry Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting Careers. As a key member of our laboratory equipment support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support on our range of highly advanced LCMS, HPLC, and GCMS systems.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers on our range of laboratory equipment, including LCMS, HPLC, and GCMS systems.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer facilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction with our products and services.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry or GCMS systems.
  • Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry or GCMS systems.
  • Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
