Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Manager to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing additional learning support services, including coordinating access arrangements and conducting screening assessments to ensure appropriate support is in place for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for initial assessments and induction sessions
- Recruit, appoint, and manage the LSA team
- Lead the induction, training, and professional development of LSAs
- Ensure all learning support aligns with internal policies and external quality frameworks, such as Ofsted and Matrix standards
- Monitor the impact of learning support on learner outcomes, such as attendance, retention, and achievement
- Act as a Safeguarding Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners
Requirements:
- Experience in coordinating learning support services
- Passion for supporting learners with additional needs
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
