Salary: £43,155 - £50,668 per annum (Band 5)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Chaplaincy Leader to join our team at HM Prison Grendon. As a member of our chaplaincy team, you will provide faith and belief support to prisoners and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to prisoners and staff
  • Work with colleagues to ensure delivery of PSI 05/2016 Faith and Pastoral Care for Prisoners policy framework
  • Engage with local faith communities to aid offender resettlement
  • Facilitate worship, meditation, and religious programs
  • Contribute to training and development of staff and volunteers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with experience of working in a chaplaincy setting.

You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

A full driving license is desirable but not essential.
