Special Needs Education Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Camden, supporting the communication and learning of a non-verbal child.
Job DescriptionWe require an individual with previous experience working with non-verbal children and knowledge of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and Makaton to support this child's development.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored education plans to promote the child's progress.
- Monitor and record the child's progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure optimal outcomes for the child.
The ideal candidate will have a patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with special educational needs. They will be committed to ongoing professional development and eager to make a positive impact on the child's life.
Salary InformationExpected Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
