Job Title: Chief Information Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Officer to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the implementation of information assurance policies and procedures to minimize regulatory and legal exposure.
  • Lead and manage communications within the team and support the Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance.
  • Stay up-to-date with good practice in governance and regulatory compliance, recommending and implementing changes for continual growth.
  • Set clear expectations and discuss performance regularly to motivate and live our culture and values.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, Freedom of Information Act 2000, and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of data protection and Freedom of Information legal frameworks, including records management.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative on policy and operational matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal, training, and presentation skills.
