About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community mental health team in Tameside. As a senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to support patients in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote recovery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including group and individual interventions, to support patients in achieving independence and well-being.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, including service development and quality improvement initiatives.
