Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in Mildenhall, Suffolk. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical control systems, instrumentation, and PLC controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain electrical control systems, instrumentation, and PLC controllers.
  2. Support the Department Head with maintenance tasks for all departments in the group.
  3. Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns using fault-finding techniques, PLC software, and test equipment.
  4. Program and update PLCs, upgrade control panels for automated systems.
  5. Assist production teams to meet targets by carrying out planned maintenance.
  6. Suggest improvements and cost-saving ideas for all engineering activities.
  7. Record all maintenance tasks using the Maintenance software.
  8. Assist or supervise service engineers/contractors when needed.

About You

We are looking for someone with a qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field at a minimum of level 3. Experience in electrical control systems, instrumentation, PLCs, variable speed drives, inverters, servo drives, 3-phase electrical systems, and motors is also required.
