In our pursuit of excellence, we have established a small project team that serves as an interface between the main Trans-Pennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Project and the local Maintenance Engineers. This team is responsible for delivering key work streams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the AMP process on behalf of Maintenance for all Disciplines, guaranteeing that the Maintainer has the most up-to-date information on ongoing site works by the TRU project.
- Attend key project meetings and ensure the AMP process is completed for each engineering intervention on behalf of the DU's.
- Deliver a program of Maintenance Delivered route hardening work along both the Calder Valley diversionary route and the main Trans-Pennine route.
- Facilitate requests for resource support required by the TRU project from the Maintainer.
- Work with the local Maintenance Engineers Teams to help them prepare for significant infrastructure changes and different working practices.
- Degree or equivalent
- Relevant successful experience in project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)
- Team leader capable of motivating the team
- Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
- Membership of the Association for Project Management or other professional body
