Supporting Teaching and Learning in SEMH

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant, specialising in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SEMH. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEMH, varied learning difficulties, and associated conditions.
About the Job:
- You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality support to students
- You will help develop and implement individualised plans for students, ensuring they receive the best possible education
- You will contribute to the creation of a safe, stimulating, and structured environment that supports the learning needs of all students
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEND within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
- Child and Adult DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one
- Ability to demonstrate a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to creating a supportive learning environment
Salary: £21,000 - £26,000 per annum
