About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Prince Alfred Residential Care Home. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, while also supporting the development of our Care Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing personalized care to residents, in line with their individual care plans.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Provide guidance and support to Care Assistants in their professional development.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience in care, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on resident-centered care.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practices in care.
