Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

The Learning Support Assistant plays a vital role in supporting children and young people with various learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.

This position involves working collaboratively with students who have Complex Learning Needs to Additional Learning Needs, promoting positive behavior and building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing care and support to children/young people while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Supervising and administering medication as required, alongside personal care tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to relevant authorities.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications and experience in supporting individuals with additional support needs.

Estimated Salary: 24960-32870 per annum (dependent on experience)
