About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fibre Test Engineer to join our team at Harper Evans Recruitment. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our fibre optic products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced fibre characterisation and testing to ensure product compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement new testing procedures to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve product design.
  • Conduct qualification testing to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Optical Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fibre characterisation or fibre component manufacturing.
  • Proficient in test equipment, data recording, and computer-based systems.
  • Experience with LabView software and Python programming languages.
  • Strong English communication skills, both technical and conversational.
