FPCR Environment and Design Ltd is a leading integrated design practice working extensively throughout the UK. As a pioneering consultancy practice, we offer a great place to work and are seeking an Assistant Arboricultural Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for trees and ideally experience in a related environmental subject such as tree surgery, arboriculture, forestry, ecology, conservation, habitat management, planning, local authority, surveying, or engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake tree surveys for development applications and construction projects;
• Assist with carrying out tree health surveys, hazard assessments, visual tree inspection, and risk assessment surveys;
• Prepare Tree Survey Plans and Tree Protection Plans;
• Assist with reporting, including Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements;
• Collate information to advise on a range of arboricultural issues for clients;
• Undertake on-site construction supervision where retained trees are being protected.
