The Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join our team and lead the daily operations of Amisfield House. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the residential home efficiently, adhering to relevant legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose.
  2. Conduct regular needs assessments and develop individual development plans to support our residents' growth.
  3. Maintain and improve home standards in line with the Care Standards Act 2000 and Children's Homes Regulations 2001.
  4. Foster strong relationships with monitoring bodies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • DipSW, CQSW, NVQ 3/4/5 in Working with Young People/Adult Management or willingness to work towards this.
  • Proven experience at a senior level in a residential home for adults/young people.
  • Advanced practice skills and experience in managing challenging behaviour.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC fundamental standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of National Care Standards, Care Act, and Regulations.
  • Ability to develop and encourage professional growth in staff.
