Job Summary:
Wood is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to support one of our UK projects within the System Integration business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective commercial coordination of relevant projects in accordance with all relevant Company commercial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver commercial reporting to Business Unit and ensure all commercial procedures are followed and reviewed.
- Implement and deliver key policies and procedures, including the Financial Management Framework and Tender Governance Procedures.
- Adhere to all requirements of the client contract T&Cs, with specific emphasis on reporting and change management in line with the NEC4 client contract.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred).
- Significant experience (8-12 years) in a similar role with good level (4+ years) of leadership/management experience.
- Experience of NEC contracts, particularly NEC4, desirable.
- Proven experience in contract administration, including change management.
- Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.
- Experience in contract negotiations.
- Experience in claims and dispute resolution (pre and post-litigation experience preferred).
