Commercial Sales Specialist for North and Mid Wales

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Sales Specialist to join our Blakemore Trade Partners Team in North and Mid Wales.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to support and develop the existing customer base, implementing trade partner initiatives and ensuring retailers maintain the required standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans, operational targets, and budgets with retailers.
- Monitor adherence to SPAR operating standards and facilitate improvement where necessary.
- Maintain retailer performance and improve it in conjunction with the team.
- Manage bad debt within the business and collaborate with head office on identified issues.
- Provide information and support for new SPAR developments and initiatives.
- Offer advice and sources of information on general business matters and legislation.
- Foster strong relationships with individual retailers and their teams without compromising the AFB Group's needs.
- Identify potential issues affecting retailers' trading or payment capabilities and report them to head office.
- Successfully integrate new retailers as they transition from recruitment.
- Support the RSM by representing the Sales Department in project groups.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A UK driving license.
- A high level of numeracy and literacy.
- A good understanding of retail operations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A passion for retail.
- Self-motivation and a drive to succeed.
- Experience in account or field management.
