About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Pathway Children's Services. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to young people with learning disabilities in our beautiful new home in Worthing.

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a homely and nurturing environment where young people can thrive. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each young person receives the support they need to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caring for and supporting up to four young people in the home, helping them develop, grow, and lead happy, fulfilled lives
  • Creating a homely, nurturing environment where young people can thrive
  • Organising activities, helping young people learn new skills, achieve their goals, and have fun

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar setting, preferably a relevant Level 3 qualification or willingness to study for one
  • A driving licence is essential for day shifts
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role
