Engineering Manager - General Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Creegan Talent. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of offshore and quayside projects. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in engineering, preferably in a drilling or service company
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across all levels of a project
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to deal with customer issues and last-minute offshore/quayside requirements
