Cummins Inc. is seeking a motivated Trade Compliance Analyst Placement Student to join our team in a Logistics role. As a key member of our Corporate/CBS segment, you will gain valuable experience in a major global organization.

This placement opportunity is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence soon. You will be responsible for:

  • Financial reporting and tracking of spend and project savings.
  • Managing, improving, and maintaining duty management systems.
  • Working with Customs brokers and suppliers to ensure smooth flow of goods.
  • Involvement and support in all Major Cross Business Unit projects.
  • Ensuring data integrity of all analytics and reports, development of reporting capabilities for supply chain KPIs.
  • Analysis and interpretation of KPIs to identify areas for improvement and action plans.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Working towards a degree in Business/Statistics related area.
  • Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI beneficial).
  • Previous experience in a supply chain role would be beneficial but is not required.
  • Ability to understand data, solve problems, and think innovatively.
  • Works well as part of a team with the ability to manage workload effectively.
