Job Title: Proposal Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team at Starion. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid preparation process, from initial concept to submission. This includes producing high-quality proposals, working closely with the Bid Management and Business Development Teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the bid preparation process, including producing proposals, conducting reviews, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with the Bid Management and Business Development Teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, resource management, recruitment, HR, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and project management/delivery.
  • Coordinate and circulate related correspondence and feedback.
  • Work towards tight deadlines and short time scales, with the ability to work overtime when required.
Requirements:
  • University Degree or equivalent in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in bid management, technical writing, technical reporting, and requirement management.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Time Management and ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to synthesize written content from diverse and concurrent sources.
  • Attention to details, excellent proofreading/editing skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, with a customer-focused communication skill.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Salesforce.
  • Working experience in/knowledge of the Space environment, preferably Earth Observation.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Background/experience in Sales and/or Legal.
  • Experience in risk assessment and project management.
