### Job Title: Construction Estimator

#### Location: Remote, with travel to sites and the Eastleigh office

#### Salary: £55,000 + Car Allowance

#### Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to play a key role in the successful delivery of a wide range of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing detailed building estimates and developing innovative approaches to meet client requirements.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed building estimates for a range of projects, including mission-critical solutions.
* Develop innovative approaches to meet client requirements, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor methodologies.
* Compile and submit detailed proposals, conducting option appraisals and identifying commercially viable project delivery methods.
* Collaborate with subcontractors to obtain accurate costs and build strong working relationships.
* Attend site visits and client meetings across the UK as part of the bid process.
* Support the continuous improvement of management procedures and operational efficiencies to maximise profitability.
* Contribute to the generation of business development reports and assist in progressing submitted tenders.
* Identify cost-saving initiatives and provide proactive, meaningful reports to clients.

### Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of building methods and materials.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
