As a Mechanical Fitter at NES Fircroft, you will have the opportunity to work with our team in Newcastle UK, assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components. Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced assembly operator or similar role candidate who has prior experience with hydrostatic testing/FAT and rigging/slinging. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational training, or an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field.

  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to address design or installation challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S principles.
