Job Description:

This role involves overseeing multiple renewable technologies and working on projects in the UK and other European countries. The ideal candidate will have experience in grid connection processes, including grid codes and technical standards for connecting generation assets to transmission and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to assess potential asset acquisitions, focusing on grid connection due diligence.
  • Maintain engagement with grid connection stakeholders throughout project development phases.
  • Ensure grid connection activities align with project timelines by working with EPC, Project Delivery, and Development teams.
  • Liaise with Asset Management to ensure compliance with grid connection agreements and coordinate grid maintenance activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with grid connection policy and regulations in GB and communicate relevant updates within the organization.
Candidate Profile:
  • Deep knowledge of the GB grid connection process and grid codes.
  • Extensive experience managing grid connection processes in the UK, covering all stages from application to operation.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proven background in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on project development.
  • Relevant degree-level qualification and strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of power systems, including network planning and electrical design.
  • Keen interest in the energy investment sector and broader energy market trends.
