We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in Newtown to assist with the appointment of an Electrician on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend properties where repair issues have been reported or identified, determine the necessary remedial works, and convey this information to the coordinating team.
  • Test, inspect, and certify a considerable number of council houses in accordance with BS7671 18th Edition and updated amendments.
  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations, as well as testing and certification of electrical systems.
  • Undertake portable appliance testing service delivery when required.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition Wiring, Inspect & Test (2391), and experience in a similar housing services role.
  • CITB Health & Safety and Asbestos Level 2 qualifications.
  • Previous experience of carrying out maintenance or repair works in domestic/occupied properties and experience of working in a social housing environment.
