As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Dobbies, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our Restaurants. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the fast-paced restaurant operation, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an engaged team, focused on delivering a great customer experience
  • Manage stock controls to minimize wastage and ensure the kitchen has everything needed
  • Support the delivery of in-store events, including seasonal highlights and regular fixtures
  • Communicate effectively with central support teams to maintain smooth operations
  • Work as part of the overall Garden Centre Management team to deliver a safe working environment

About You:

  • You will bring passion for hospitality with proven experience of restaurant management
  • You will have commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, profitability, and improved ways of working
  • You will be able to manage stock controls and strict adherence to health & safety regulations
  • You will be able to identify training needs and effectively coach and train all levels
  • You will be adaptable, acting quickly and enthusiastically to changing priorities
