Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Teesside Primary and York. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing a high standard of support to both the children in the class and the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
- Assist with the supervision of children during lessons and breaks
- Help to identify children who may require extra support and develop strategies to support their learning
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools
- Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment
- Ability to work effectively with children of all ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
