SEND Learning Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Mentor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs or EHCP pupils who require personalized education.
About the Role:
- Guide students as a Learning Mentor, offering personalized guidance and support to help them thrive in a nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
- Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- UK driving license with access to a car for business use.
- Business insurance for the vehicle.
- Availability to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
- Effective communication skills to ensure clear interactions with students, teachers, and parents.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Dedication to the success of students with complex needs.
