Engineering Maintenance Professional

"In this key position, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various automation systems on site, including conveyor systems, Automated Cranes, Strappers, Shuttles, and Hanging Garment systems. Your mechanical expertise will involve working on gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems, fault finding, and replacing components. You will also be responsible for electrical tasks such as working with sensors, motors, panels, electrical drawings, and three-phase kits. Due to remote support from the client, your PLC responsibilities will primarily focus on checking I/Os without access to more advanced functions.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A recognised engineer qualification.
- A confident communicator.
- Ability to work independently when needed but collaboratively with a shift partner on larger projects.
- Motivation to grow and develop within the company.
- Confidence in both electrical and mechanical aspects of engineering.
