Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Machinist to join our engineering team at Anglian Home Improvements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves designing and developing new tools and modifying existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new tools and modifications to existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Utilise advanced machining techniques such as milling, turning, grinding, and drilling to shape raw materials into tool components.
  • Assemble and test tools to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in operating machine tools and machining techniques.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems.
