The Role

  • Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future by performing welding operations to a radiographic standard
  • Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems
  • Conduct equipment inspections and adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control
  • Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action
  • Ability to identify your own welds for quality control
  • Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards

Requirements

  • Significant welding experience with a solid foundation in various welding techniques
  • A proven track record in large-scale projects in a regulated sector
  • Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and inspections
  • Proficient in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding the specific requirements of this field
  • A multi-disciplined welding approach and the ability to weld a variety of materials
  • Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • EN ISO certified (or equivalent)
